If your cat has caused a larger area of damage you will need first to strengthen the area using a leather binder then fix the scratches using a leather repair kit and finally restore the color using a leather colorant kit.

We perform the repair at your property and leave a seamless invisible finish with no sign of the damage saving you. Use a nail gun to nail the new carpet into place on the cat tree.

Be sure all staples or nails are pushed into the structure completely to avoid snagging or scratching your cat. Use carpet from an inconspicuous place in your home or from a leftover roll. If using fabric or carpet secure the material to the structure using a heavy duty staple gun and staples or a hammer and nails. The binder helps to strengthen the area that was damaged the repair kit helps cover the scratch marks and the colorant restores the full luster of your couch.

Carpet tape is available in double sided and single sided versions. If cats continuously tug on a single area the seam can pull loose causing a flap or split. Repair this damage with hot melt tape. Use a sharp carpet knife to remove the damaged section in one piece.

When a cat urinates on a carpet you have no choice but to cut the urine stain out along with the padding and clean the floor below it. We can either use spare carpet to replace the damaged area or restore the fibres individually.
